Pronunciation guide for the cats of the Berg-Williams Household:
Nigel = NIGH-gel
Ravel = ra-VEL
Tailwheel = TAIL-wheel
Dinner time has been a bit challenging as Nigel and Ravel seem ravenous and move from bowl to bowl trying to devour everything in site. Tailwheel likes to have a more peaceful dining room atmosphere. Who can blame him, he's a middle-aged cat. We've only heard a few hisses from Mr. Wheel and haven't seen the young bucks take a swing at their uncle.
On Sunday while Sue was at the mall with some work friends I bottled beer with James and Leon. This was the Belgian Pale Ale brewed back in early January. The bottling bucket had a slow drip that Nigel kept walking under. Hopefully he cleaned off the beer.
Nigel is probably looking at this 312 American Wheat Ale thinking, "silly Americans and their filtered wheat beers."
From this angle you can see Ravel's white scalp. He looks more like a kitten than Nigel because his ears are bigger and his body is longer. Yeah, his proportions are all out of whack whereas Nigel looks like a small cat. I'm in favor of them both getting a lot bigger.
We had to put down a wider bowl of dry food so they could both eat out of it at the same time.
First Nigel watched lions, cheetahs, and leopards on the Animal Planet and then he tuned into a vintage episode of Friends. Is this why people order special channels featuring birdies flying around to leave on for their cats?

We engaged all three cats in some playtime with the lubricating effect of a little dried catnip.
Tailwheel mostly watched until the two little ones got tuckered out. Then he climbed to the top of the Fleet Farm Barn to snort some catnip. Ravel is resting inside the barn.
Leon's daughter Laura stopped by to meet the new felines. Later, neighbor Ann popped in for a visit. They both approved.
