There was some good progress this week. The biggest project was the painting of the cabinets. Each color took a day. The doors were done off-site and returned on Thursday.
The electrician was here yesterday and moved an outlet that otherwise would have been covered up by the fridge.
The next week won’t be as busy as these two. Hopefully a variety of people will be in to finish some little things like the closet wall, the trim around the closet, the addition of a tile to level out the new fridge area, etc.
We were at The Container Store today to get some new cutlery trays and utensil trays to put in the new drawers. It’s safe to say we were surprised by all the choices.
The following week is scheduled as the last week with the countertop, backsplash, appliance delivery, light fixture installation and (gloriously) a final cleaning before the project is finished.
Nigel was in need of some special attention last night after the activity this week.
