Here is the first instance of Sue saying to the waiter, “surprise me!” with a drink. It is some combination of melon and strawberry and something else daiquiri.
We did not see the cloudless sunrise that maybe only exists in our minds. For some reason, we were up early enough for the sunrise every single morning.
Here is a guy on the terrace of one of the suites utilizing his selfie stick. Steve Berg said he was going to get us one of these but he’d probably have to get us a smart phone also to make it work.

It was slightly difficult to find shady seats both by the pool and on the beach. The resort has some policy about the reservation of chairs not being allowed but people still try to claim chairs. When we were ready for lunch, we jut gave up our prime seats assuming we could find some more seats later and we usually could.
I did grow tired of the lime-based sour drinks including Margarita, Gin and tonic, and Sea Breeze. Then I moved on to the coconut milk-based drinks including the Pina Colada and the Blue Hawaiian. Oh yeah, I had a few Diet Cuba Libre (Diet Coke and rum) and at least one Sheldon Cooper Diet / Virgin Cuba Libre (Diet Coke with no rum). Like my boonie hat?

Sun up
Here’s a walk on the beach. You really can’t efficiently walk on the beach and cover any ground. On this walk we went about three resorts north of Live Aqua before turning around.
