Summer has started out so slow here that on the first nice day this week, we did lots of fun summer activities. I weeded the flower gardens first thing in the morning. As soon as the sun came out around noon, we hit the golf course. No photos or scores available… but I did par the last hole.
When we got home, we decided to pick up some tickets for the Twins game that evening. We used Stub Hub again and got great seats for about half of what they would cost to walk up and purchase those same tickets.
The evening got even better when a group of Japanese tourists and their English teacher sat down next to us. It was very entertaining listening to them speak Japanese and we tried out a few phrases on them.
The planes were taking off over the stadium. We saw the brightly painted Icelandair go out as well as the biggest boy around, the Air France flight, buzz the stadium.
We picked the right night to go as it was both South St. Paul/Inver Grove Heights Night AND Charles B. Scholl Building Trades Night.

It was a beautiful night to watch baseball and a great game. The Twins won (not something we see in person very often) and it was close to the finish.
