Happy Birthday to Susan!
I wondered if Mike and Judy feel older today having their first born turn 42 years old but then I thought my parents might feel even older having their youngest child turn 42.
Here we are on the 9 hour bus trip from Dar es Salaam to Iringa. We don't even look jet-lagged. Actually the jet lag seemed much worse flying home (west). When we lived in Japan and made that trip several times, I remember thinking flying east was worse. It's probably equally bad either way. Makiko had the novelty of leaving at 1pm on Thursday and arriving at 3pm on Thursday. You gotta love flying across the international date line.
