We're bringing the blog back to life with a Bathroom Renovation. We have talked about it off and on since we had our kitchen done but the final straw was a drain cover coming off the tub with no reasonable solution other than to have a gaping hole.
Ravel the Site Supervisor is looking forward to seeing his friend Buzz and all the others from College City Design Build. They did an amazing job on our kitchen so why not go with what you know!
Despite the overwhelming number of double sinks requested on HGTV shows, we are keeping a single sink because "someone" thinks this is her personal bathroom and doesn't care to have anyone else using a sink or anything else while she is in there. The sink will be more centered.
We're getting a new cabinet, new countertop, new everything! The layout will stay basically the same though.
The biggest change will be a new tub and tile surround. Most of this wall will be glass and we will have glass shower doors which should brighten it up a bit.
We expect work to start in early June!
