Score 2 for Nigel

We’ve implemented a new scoring system for NCL (National Cat League). Two points are awarded for a win over a division team while a win over a non-division team scores 1.
Nigel scored two as the representative of the Packers today.

Ravel scored one as the representative of the Vikings today. He has a tough spot in the schedule as he’s the Packers rep next week when they have their bye.

Titletown SSP

 

We’re going to have a competition in the house this football season. We have a Packer bandana and a Vikings bandana. Each week, the cats take turns wearing one of them. This week, Ravel was the Packers fan and Nigel was the Vikings fan. 

We know how this week’s game turned out…  We decided we will switch bandana’s each week and keep track of who the winner is.

Nigel is winning 1-0. Next week Ravel will be the Vikings cat (vs. the Panthers… seems wrong for the Black Cat to cheer against the Carolina Black Cats but that’s the luck of the draw). Nigel will be the Packer cat (vs. the Lions…. seems wrong that the orange cat should cheer against the Lions when he is our House Lion).

There’s a spreadsheet… it’s less complicated than it sounds….

Happy Bacon Day

Today is (apparently) National Bacon Day. Last night, we got together with some friends for a bacon-themed dinner. Everything had to have bacon in it. I brought a BLT salad and, more interestingly, these Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Yep – Bacon. Chocolate Chip. Cookies.
