On Monday morning Sue and I headed out for Inver Wood Golf Course for nine holes. We played the executive nine because it’s a little cheaper, a little shorter, and a little less busy.
Our weather has been absolutely beautiful lately. We will probably go to the Twins game tonight or tomorrow afternoon.
Here’s the 92 yard par three hole with a prominent water feature.
My sand wedge shot from the tee came very close. . .
. . . this is my nearest hole-in-one ever! I tapped it in for a birdie.
Later in the day Judy arrived for an overnight visit on her way to Texas to visit the Bergs. After a visit to The Panda for some Kung Pao chicken, we strolled the neighborhood.
Sue didn’t want to stop walking to pose for a photo so this is an action shot in which she deliberately is avoiding the camera. More Japan photos to follow. We are deciding which two or three pictures we will frame to hang in our basement travel wall of fame.
