All of the red flags meant “swim here at your own peril” – actually, I think the life guard would tell you to not swim when the red flags are up. We only swam near the yellow flags and only on one day all the flags were red. These chairs weren’t really used because they had no pads or shade.
Our room was on left of the big windows right above the big hole in the building. It was the 5th floor but more like the 8th since the ground floor was the pool, then lobby, then mezzanine, then 1, 2, etc. It was sometimes difficult to find shade, especially in the morning when we first arrived at the pool or beach.
This could be a postcard.
My face wasn’t really this red.
Here comes the movie star. . .
. . . there she is!
This is at the Azur restaurant where we ate lunch almost every day. I always ordered the specialty drink which in this case was some banana flavored concoction.
The ocean water was plenty warm for swimming, or rather being tossed around by the waves. They have planted palm trees right in the beach probably to help with erosion and to eventually finally gives us some shade!
Here is Sue with Sheldon Cooper’s drink—diet virgin rum and coke (diet coke).
Dessert.
We think the boys developed this bad habit with their cat sitter, Laura. They never used to do this(!)
