It has been a slow photo week here at the B-W Home. In fact, I haven’t really seen very much of the others. Fahsai is at an overnight all-school retreat at a YMCA camp in Wisconsin. Overnight the weather went from very humid to very cold with a high of 60 degrees today. Brrrr. Sue has been busy at work—summer has ended. The cats like their new termite mound (gray platform) but they like it even better when it is placed next to the taller platform.
Last week I made a beef red curry complete with farmer’s market fresh veggies.
I made it unspicy since Fahsai said she doesn’t like spicy foods. Unfortunately, she never had any since she was at the mall the evening that we ate this. I finished it in two rounds of leftovers.
This picture should serve as a reminder that it is now Oktoberfest Beer Season. Get some while it’s available—it’ll be sold out before the end of October!

The cats like to duel from the top of the two perches. Nigel has a new nickname: Carl. He might start going by the official name of C. Nigel Berg-Williams.
