Yesterday we practiced riding the bus again and then transferred to the light rail to get to the State Capitol building.  They are doing a lot of renovations so the rotunda part was closed.  We did get into the senate gallery (seen here) and the representatives gallery.  There was not much going on in the building.

Fahsai is standing on the map of Minnesota exactly where we live in Dakota County.  Our seven county metro area has a population of about 3 million.  The City of Minneapolis is only about 400,000 and St. Paul is 250,000. The entire state has about 5 million people.  The entire nation has about 300 million.  Should I stop now?

This is the 10th Street Green line light rail station.  I include this station in my list of underused or poorly located stations where there doesn’t seem to be a lot of people getting on or off the train.

Fahsai took the bus this morning to school for her first day of testing and orientation.  Last night at dinner we had a giant English conversation lesson in which no one was allowed to give only one word answers to questions.

She packed a lunch in an oversized lunch bag.  I have an on-line synchronous meeting with my class at 11am.  I’ve already jumped right into the readings and writings for this, my third of seven classes to finish that degree.
